Together for Italia: Honoring Her Memory with Love and Support
Our OB community came together in an incredible way, raising over $9,201 to honor Italia Bernay, a beloved Point Loma High School student known for her warmth, kindness, and joyful spirit. Her loss has touched us all deeply.
These funds will help Italia’s family with funeral and memorial expenses, easing some of the burdens during this tough time. By coming together, we’re not only celebrating Italia’s life but also surrounding her family with love and support.
Thank you to everyone who donated or shared this cause. Love Thy Neighborhood and the Point Loma High School Thespian Society Booster are so grateful for your generosity and compassion as we remember Italia and stand with her family.
Celebrating New Beginnings: Lawrence’s Housewarming Party
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate Lawrence’s new home! It was a joy to see so many friends and loved ones come together to support him during this exciting new chapter. Your presence, laughter, and thoughtful gifts truly helped make his new space feel like home.

OB Stands Strong for Liam Vega!
Liam Vega experienced a devastating surfing accident, resulting in a broken neck and requiring emergency spinal surgery. While he's incredibly fortunate to retain mobility, his journey to full recovery will be long and expensive.
In an amazing show of support, the community has come together to raise $8,145 toward his substantial medical and home care costs.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity in standing by Liam during this challenging time!
Community Rallies to Raise Money & Celebrate Two Ocean Beach Legends
We are deeply moved by the incredible support from our community, raising $7,962 for the Marc Gervais & David Hendon Fund.
Your generosity is instrumental in helping Marc and Pico recover from this tragic event and in honoring David's memory.
We celebrated the life of David Hendon on Saturday, July 27, with a beach cleanup, followed by a heartfelt toast at our generous hosts, California Wild Ales. You can view a recap of the celebration here.
